Even though the workers were matter of fact and seem like they did not want to be there- it is okay. The tacos and ingredients were fresh! Seriously- never cared much for fine casual or the like, but this time and this location, totally deserved a review! That was how fresh it was. Usually the brookfield location does not have the foot traffic as this location does, so that may explain the slight inconsistency with the ingredients. Meanwhile, their soft corn taco shell was soooo fresh like straight from scratch-made. Luckily I ordered 2!! The corn and sour cream were glistening and it was apparent from the bites that can pick up whether it was sitting around for a while or just came into existence not too long ago and made it to their serving tables. Recommend!!!

The food is really good, large portion sizes. Like a much much much better version of chipotle. From what I remember the seating area is limited but then it's near union square so that's to be expected.

Been to Dos Toros multiple times and at different locations. On this occasion, we had the slow-cooked carnitas bowl. The service was prompt and we didn't have to wait long to get our food prepared. Onto the burning question ; is this place better than it's main competitor Chipotle. The answer is yes... And no. This bowl is about a dollar cheaper than a similar product at Chipotle. In my opinion, Dos Toros' bowls are slightly smaller than at Chipotle so that also means less food. The taste is similar but if you twist my arm, I'd say Chipotle tastes better. But it's a toss up. Also worth mentioning that this location has very limited seating. If you want a quick bite for a decent price hit this place up.

Community manager reached out which I really respect. They gave me a Guac and chips that were spectacular. The Guac really is tremendous. It's the perfect consistency. I also love how salted the chips are. Great bite!

Love their burritos! Full-filing and more flavorful than Chipotle. Also they hot pressed the tortilla longer so it's actually warm when you eat the burritos. Service is quick. Nice staff. 1-2 bar tables/seats inside. Most people do take out.

I really enjoyed my custom bowl, which I ordered to-go for my work lunch. I got a spiced sweet potato bowl with cauliflower rice (+$1.99), black beans, corn salsa, peppers & onions, pickled onions, lettuce and guacamole (+$1.99). I'm definitely team Dos Toros! Here are a few reasons why I prefer it over Chipotle: 1. Additional options that are great for those who prefer to eat healthy and vegetarian: cauliflower rice as a base, sweet potatoes or Brussels sprouts as the main/protein, and pickled onions as a topping 2. Fresher, higher quality ingredients 3. Perfect portion size (although the portion is smaller than Chipotle's)
